Kide Science expands in Thailand despite school closures

Kide Science, a Finnish early science education company, signed a new agreement with a kindergarten and school chain in Hat Yai called โรงเรียนวรพัฒน์ Warraphat School. They aim to develop children's scientific thinking skills, emphasizing happiness, raising curiosity and awareness.

Kide Science supports educators with online training, lesson plans, peer networks and engagement for families to continue science education at home. With holistic support, teachers can focus on working with the children to provide wondrous hands-on science experiences, even remotely during the school closures.

Director, Dr.Phat Masniyom says: "We wanted to start cooperation because the content of Kide Science is produced in a multi-professional pedagogical team where there is know-how in both early education and teaching natural sciences as well as in drama pedagogy and stories."

CEO of Kide Science, Sari Hurme-Mehtälä continues: "Even the most high-quality content is ineffective without an inspiring and professional teacher. That is why we are happy to train Warraphat's teachers through our innovative online training, where the teachers learn by doing, even during school closures. Teachers learn how to guide activities in a way that sets the child in the centre of the inquiry process.”
